Participant Declaration

I understand that I am participating in outdoor and whitewater activities operated by Whitewater North, which take place in natural environments and involve inherent risks.

I acknowledge and accept that these risks may include, but are not limited to:

• Immersion in moving water and possible capsizing
• Slips, trips, and falls on wet or uneven terrain
• Cold water exposure and changing weather conditions
• Physical exertion and fatigue
• Contact with rocks, branches, or other natural hazards

I understand that while Whitewater North takes all reasonably practicable steps to manage risk, not all risks can be eliminated.

Medical & Personal Responsibility

I confirm that I am medically fit to participate and have disclosed any relevant medical conditions. I confirm that I am water confident for water-based activities. I agree to follow all instructions given by Whitewater North guides. I understand that failure to follow instructions may result in removal from the activity without refund. Do you have any medical condition we should be aware of?

Liability Acknowledgement

I understand that Whitewater North is not responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings. I acknowledge that participation is at my own risk except where injury or loss is caused by proven negligence.

Consent

I confirm that I have read, understood, and accept the risks involved. I agree to take part in the activity under the supervision of Whitewater North.
